Sports have never just been something I watched—they've always been a part of my life.

I was born into dirt track racing, growing up around the sound of engines, Saturday nights at the track, and the excitement that comes with racing. Long before I ever thought about sports photography as something I would pursue, I understood what those moments meant to the people living them.

Being a dirt track racing wife has given me an even deeper appreciation for the sport. I know how much work, time, money, emotion, and heart goes into every race night. I know which moments matter—the last-minute adjustments in the pits, the anticipation before the green flag, the intensity on the track, and the emotion after the checkered flag falls. That perspective gives me the drive to be in the right place at the right time and capture the shots that mean the most to drivers, crews, and families.

When my son started playing sports, my camera was never far away. I photographed him through pee wee football, baseball, basketball, track & field, and eventually college football. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't simply taking pictures—I was preserving pieces of his story.

The little boy in a pee wee uniform eventually became a college athlete, and those photographs became memories of seasons and moments we could never get back.

That's what made me fall in love with sports photography.

Today, I bring that same perspective behind the camera for other athletes and families. Whether I'm standing beside a dirt track with cars flying past me, on the sidelines of a football field, or capturing another athlete doing what they love, I'm looking for more than just the action. I want the determination, the emotion, the celebration, and all those little moments in between.

Because seasons end. Kids grow up. Race cars change. Records are broken.

But a photograph lets you keep a moment forever.
